A Simple Lemon-y and Sugar-y Scrub to Make You Glow!

I know, I know, I've been a very bad girl and I'm sorry. I have been so busy and therefore unable to do any blogging.
Forgive me, please?????

Thank you! :)

Now, let's get on with it...
  • Mix lemon juice and olive oil in the bowl.
  • Add the honey and stir quickly until the ingredients bind together into a medium thick consistency.
  • You can add or subtract the amount of olive oil and honey that you use depending on how thick you want your scrub to be.
  • Add in the sugar and mix. If you sense that there is not enough sugar to get the scrubbing done, add a bit more.

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 fresh lemon
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of organic honey
  • 1 medium sized bowl

Directions:
As a body scrub: Apply to body, paying extra close attention to elbows, knees, feet and hands (nails and cuticles especially) and rub in circular motions for about 5 minutes.

As a face scrub: The lemon and sugar scrub is also great for the face, but use with gentle circular motions. This scrub is ideal for people who suffer from breakouts and acne as all of the ingredients are highly beneficial to acne prone skin. Lemon tightens pores and evens out the skin tone, sugar removes dead skin cells and cleans pores, olive oil heals acne scaring, and honey prevents future breakouts.
To use, apply to clean face in gentle, circular motions. Be cautious of using on open wounds as the lemon may sting. Leave on for 7-10 minutes and rinse with water.

Benefits of the Ingredients:
Lemon – A natural source of Vitamin C; an ingredient commonly used to lighten sun and age spots and even out skin tone; A natural astringent that tightens pores and brightens the complexion.

Sugar – A natural exfoliator; a natural source of glycolic acid which evens out skin tone, cleans pores, and improves overall skin texture by removing dead, dull skin cells.

Olive Oil – High in Vitamin E which soothes and heals skin; a natural moisturizing ingredient often used for it’s anti-aging benefits.

Honey – A natural source of anti-oxidants making it a perfect ingredients for age preventions; a natural humectant so it locks water into the skin keeping the complexion hydrated; the antibacterial properties benefit acne-prone skin by reducing breakouts.

Good luck!

    1. Yes, milk of magnesia works fine as a primer. But, be careful how much you use so that your face will be whitish.

Try Eden face and body scrub. Use it twice a week. You will see a difference.

My face and neck's dark due to exposure and my skin's getting dull which's making me loose my self-confidence whenever I go out. Pls,recommend a soap, cream that'd help restore my fairness especially my face and neck, and my GLOW back. Would also appreciate if you could recommend a cleanser/toner or something. Thanks dear. Waiting. P.S: I already use nivea fair(naturally even body lotion) and isn't working for me

No, Delta soap is too concentrated for their skin.
